Last Day for Assignments
Tuesday, May 19 is the LAST DAY of school and the last day to turn in assignments. I will not accept nor will I grade any assignments turned in after May 19.

ATTENTION SENIORS
ATTENTION SENIORS:
Hi, Principal Lykins,
The Daily Independent has a new project for graduating seniors that I hope you will be interested in helping us with! Essentially we want to create a tribute for the class of 2020 who is facing something so unprecedented by giving them a platform to have their voices heard!
It is our hope that you will help us engage your students to write a personal narrative addressing the prompts on the attached flyer of 300 words or less. All submissions should accompany a photo of the student, name, and school, and are due back to me no later than May 22nd. These submissions will run in a very special Senior Story Tribute section in our newspaper every Monday, Friday, and Saturday during the month of June!
We will also be accepting submissions of photographs from graduating seniors to play in a slideshow on our website in our Virtual Year Book and seniors are encouraged to submit any photos they would like displayed online as well!
Please let me know if you have any questions and if we can count on you to help us bring this special tribute to our seniors to fruition!
Submissions are due back by the 22nd of May, so we need to act swiftly! Thank you for your time!

Schedule for picking up belongings
Students can come to the high school and pick up their belongings on the following days:
Seniors: Monday, May 18- you will also receive cap and gowns
Juniors: Tuesday, May 19
Sophomores: Wednesday, May 20
Freshmen: Thursday, May 21

New Meal Program
Please go to the link below about the new meal program. You have to click on the "Meals-To-You-Application" and apply. Deadline is May 13, and will not be extended. So, you must sign up by May 13. Please make sure your parents/guardians see this so they can apply. You will need your student ID to register. If you need your ID send me an email or call the school at 796-2811.
